2010 CPSA Annual Meeting - June 4-5, 2010
CPSA's 58th Annual Meeting was held June 4-5 at the beautiful Amelia Island Plantation at Amelia Island, Florida.
The meeting began with a Welcome Reception on Friday evening in the Ocean View Room, where attendees enjoyed light fare and drinks courtesy of our Welcome Reception sponsor, EZShield. Attendees spoke favorably about the resort and its beautiful grounds. Saturday morning's general session featured a presentation by Dr. Martin Regalia, Senior Vice President and Chief Economist with the US Chamber of Commerce, who shared his insights into the state of the economy and participated in an entertaining question and answer period with session attendees.
The general session was followed by a lively round of golf on Amelia Island Plantation’s Ocean Links Course, a challenging course featuring five oceanfront golf holes. Overall tournament winners included the first place team of Kathy and Tom Morefield, Rob Mulholland, and Anthony Rigelman (64), followed closely by the second place team of Dan Adkison, Mike Fay, Dan Singleton, and Brad Wheeless (66). Closest to the Pin winners included Freddi Dawson and Tom Morefield, with Longest Drive awards going to Gayle Cronin and Mike Fay.
On Saturday evening attendees braved the humid Florida air for cocktails outdoors, followed by our President’s Dinner, during which the golf tournament winners were announced. Thank you again to all who attended this year's Annual Meeting.
